Television star Rati Pandey has officially denied her participation in Bigg Boss 19, putting an end to growing speculation about her entry into Salman Khan’s highly anticipated reality show.
Best known for her breakout role as Nupur in Miley Jab Hum Tum, Pandey addressed the rumors in a recent interaction with Pinkvilla. “No, I am not doing Bigg Boss,” she confirmed, dismissing the buzz surrounding her possible appearance in the new season.
This isn’t the first time Pandey’s name has been floated ahead of a Bigg Boss season. With the show known for tapping into drama, nostalgia, and big TV personalities, her name had naturally stirred excitement among fans. However, Pandey made it clear that she won’t be a part of this year’s extended season.
Not the Only One Denying the Buzz
Interestingly, Rati isn’t alone in swatting down Bigg Boss 19 rumors. Actress Meera Deosthale was also reported to be a confirmed contestant, but she too has publicly denied the claim.
What’s New With Bigg Boss 19?
This season promises several big changes. Scheduled to premiere on August 29, Bigg Boss 19 will run for a record-breaking 5.5 months and introduce an AI-driven theme. While Salman Khan will anchor the show initially, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor are expected to rotate hosting duties later in the season.
With a digital-first release strategy, the show will debut on JioCinema before being aired on Colors TV — a significant shift from past seasons.
So while Rati Pandey may not be entering the house, the speculation and build-up around Bigg Boss 19 is only just beginning. Stay tuned for more confirmations, denials, and unexpected twists as the premiere date approaches.
