Taking to Instagram Stories on Monday, Mallika wrote:
“Putting an end to all the rumours, I am NOT doing Bigg Boss and NEVER WILL. THANK YOU.”
The post puts a full stop to the swirling gossip that the bold actress would be among the housemates this season.
Mallika, who made a guest appearance in Bigg Boss 18 to promote her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, has drawn a clear line when it comes to participating in the controversial reality show.
Bigg Boss 19: What’s Brewing?
While Mallika’s denial clears the air for now, the makers are yet to confirm the final list of contestants for Bigg Boss 19. Rumoured names include a mix of TV favourites, film personalities and digital stars — from Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor to Dheeraj Dhoopar, Munmun Dutta, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Apoorva Mukhija. Notably, Ram Kapoor too has publicly denied his involvement, despite being named in several leaked lists.
The show is expected to launch on JioCinema first, with a multicoloured eye logo hinting at a season packed with drama, conflict, and entertainment. A fresh format, rotating hosts, and wild-card twists are in the works.
