The wait for Bigg Boss 19 just got more exciting — the show is going digital-first for the very first time in its history. According to a report by SCREEN, the upcoming season will premiere first on JioCinema, followed by a delayed telecast on Colors TV roughly 90 minutes later.
This OTT-first rollout marks a major shift in strategy for the reality TV giant and reflects how the franchise is evolving to keep up with India’s streaming-first audience.
Salman Khan to Launch the Season, But Other Hosts Will Take Over
Superstar Salman Khan is back to kickstart Bigg Boss 19 — but this time, his hosting contract reportedly lasts for only three months.
Once Salman steps away, a rotating host panel is expected to take over. Names being considered include Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor, adding star power and variety to the longest Bigg Boss season yet.
A source told SCREEN:
“The makers are planning different celebrity hosts after Salman wraps his part. He’ll return again for the grand finale.”
